ABOUT

JACQUELYNNE CLARK

Barrister & Solicitor, B.A, J.D (cum laude)

I have been a resident of the West Carleton area most of my life and completed my undergraduate degree at Carleton University, with distinction, and my law degree at the University of Ottawa. I was called to the Bar in 2016 and have focused my practice in family law since. I am a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.

I have extensive experience in the resolution of all matrimonial issues, including custody/access, complex property division, support issues, and pension division. Although my preference is to negotiate a settlement, I have extensive litigation experience and have appeared before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. I am well versed in the negotiation and preparation of separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, parenting plans and marriage contracts. I have further assisted many client’s through the mediation process.

Outside of the office I have been engaged as a part time professor teaching the law clerk students at Algonquin College family law. I have also been a guest speaker at my former high school, speaking to law classes about life in law and becoming a lawyer.

When I am not busy practicing law, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my young family.
